Dear Friend,
The Time to Act is Now!
Healthcare reform is moving in the U.S. Congress
and YOU need to step up and be heard.
It is easy
to do and only takes a few minutes to an hour (if you really get rolling).
Home Health
Care and Hospice MUST generate grassroots pressure on each of our elected
officials. You need to let them know TODAY what is important for them to know,
such as:
1) Home
Care and Hospice are the solution, not the problem.
2) Our
industry saves Medicare money and if empowered to do, our entire job could save
BIG amounts of money.
3) Cuts to
home care and hospice are equal to balancing the healthcare budget on the backs
of the most frail citizens.
You get the idea. But, here is the best part -- YOU
DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT any of the following:
1) What to
say
2) Where to
send your message
3) How to
do it
Simply go to the associations that represent our
industries and use their portals to send your message to Congress. With your zip
code, they will automatically route your message to your Senators and your
Representatives in the House. You can pick the message (pre-written by the
experts) that best expresses your opinion and click to send.
IT IS REALLY EASY!
National
Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC)

National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO)

Your state association or alliance: Google to find their website and then look
for advocacy area.
This is CRITICAL and
YOUR Participation WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Also, since you are on a roll -- here is one more
thing you can do to make a difference:
and let CMS know that they CANNOT phase out the BNAF! Comments are due on or
before Monday, June 22nd.
After you
have sent your messages, get ten other people to do the same. We have the
numbers -- don't be silent; stand up and be heard!
Thanks and
Happy Selling!
Best,
Mike

P.S. Thanks for all that you do
and for taking the time to let Congress know what an important part of
healthcare we are!
